Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, Wishes Diwali Greetings with a Photo of a Flying Lantern Taken on an iPhone – Times of India

Apple’s CEO Tim Cook sent his best wishes for Diwali. Keeping with his tradition of the past few years, Apple’s CEO shared a photo taken on an iPhone along with the festive greetings. Cook is known for wishing India on Diwali by sharing photos taken by Indian photographers on iPhones. These photos typically feature lights or Diyas and are captured using that year’s flagship cameras.

“Happy Diwali! May your celebrations be filled with warmth, prosperity, and the joy of being together. Captured on iPhone 15 Pro Max by Chandan Khanna,” Cook posted on X, formerly Twitter.
The photo seemed to be taken at one of the ghats of river Ganga and depicts children preparing to release lanterns into the sky to celebrate the festival of lights.
Khanna, a photojournalist working with Agence France-Presse (AFP) based in Miami, USA covering North America, responded to Cook’s post on Instagram. Khanna expressed gratitude to the Apple CEO for his “constant love and support”.
“Wishing everyone around the world a very Happy Diwali 🪔✨ Thanks @apple for your constant love and support. #ShotOniPhone15ProMax,” Khanna wrote in his Instagram post.
In 2022, Cook had shared a photo of lighted Diyas with his post. “This photo beautifully captures why Diwali is known as the Festival of Lights. Wishing all who celebrate a holiday full of joy and prosperity. #ShotoniPhone by Apeksha Maker.”

The photo was taken by photographer Apeksha Maker.
